Job Description :

Job Purpose

  • Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program or approved Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Program or
  • Current student in approved cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) program

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • R.T. (R) through ARRT and registered with Texas Medical Board or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS)or
  • RCIS obtained within 12 months of hire following graduation from approved RCIS program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardio Life support (ACLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience:

  • 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab with general understanding of cath procedures and related complication preferred.
