The Surgical Technologist assists with the preparation, processing, and maintenance of supplies and equipment and serves as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures.
UCSF Stanyan Operating Room (OR) consists of 8 surgical suites for inpatient and outpatient surgeries. Services include, but are not limited to: Orthopedics, General, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Pain Service, General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, and Podiatry.
All patient care team members are responsible for meeting patient needs, demonstrating willingness to learn new skills, and fostering a harmonious work environment in which high-quality patient care and customer service are consistently provided. Team members promote cooperative working relationships with each other, physicians, other disciplines, and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, demonstrating honesty and respect, showing sensitivity to cultural differences, and expressing and accepting feedback professionally.

Scrub experience in at least one of the following services: Ophthalmology, OHNS, Robotics, Urology,
Gynecology, OMFS, Plastics
