Reporting to the Audiology Clinic Manager, the Audiology Aide performs developmentally appropriate behavioral management of children for valid test results. Organizes appointments, scheduling, intake, follow-up, and liaison with referring physicians, referring agencies and educational programs. Assumes responsibility for financial information pertaining to each patient including authorization and billing, maintains monthly revenue and statistical reports, and maintains general office function.Additonally, this position provides clerical support to the Audiology Department. This position functions independently in carrying out standard and complex office procedures as well as interacting with other hospital departments and clinics, physician offices, providers, and patients/families. This position will serve as a primary contact between hospital employees, vendors, managers, and administration.
