Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing high-quality respiratory care across a diverse patient population. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver both routine and advanced respiratory therapy to pediatric and neonatal patients in a variety of clinical settings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 * Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

 * Provide care in critical care environments, including the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Emergency Department, and other high-acuity areas.

 * Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams.

 * Rotate through various departments within the Health System as needed to support patient care.

 * Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

 

Schedule:

 * May include rotating day and night shifts.

 * Flexibility to work in any area of the Health System is required.

Salary Range: $48.53-$64.03 Hourly

Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements:
* Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar
* Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or similar preferred
* Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Licenses/Certifications:
* RCP State License in the state of California
* Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
* Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS)
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) preferred
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred

Physical Demands:
* Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs.
* Must be able to physically roll a 100 lb., horizontally positioned patient
* Must be able to stand and/or walk 75% of the 12-hour workday
* Must be able to sit, push, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods of time
* Must possess oral and written communication skills sufficient to communicate with colleagues, administrators, patients, visitors, staff, faculty, physicians, and on-site servicemen
