Reporting to the Department Director, this position is responsible to perform a variety of non-invasive cardio and vascular services: EKG, EEG, Treadmills, Echocardiography, Holter Monitor hook-up as well as assuring other technicians are clinically competent and providing necessary training. This position is responsible for identifying Quality Assurance Indicators and reporting up through the Medical Director and PI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of a Cardiovascular ultrasound program.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • EEG Certification
  • 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated technical expertise.
  • Experience in the field of cardiology.
  • Proficiency in Stress Echocardiograms and Transesophagel Echocardiograms.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
