About Us:
At Valley Children’s, the Laboratory provides comprehensive clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services for our extensive patient population. We are vital members of the interdisciplinary teams that care for patients across the Valley Children’s Healthcare system. Our work includes services for patients in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. As a VCH laboratorian, you will work in a special environment serving patients of all ages from the smallest infants to adults. Our pediatric testing offers unique experiences that include a focus on using specimens efficiently. Front line teams specialize in specimen collections, processing, histology, and support activities. Analytical teams staff a variety of sections that include core laboratory, microbiology, transfusion service, and point of care testing.

Job Summary:
Accountable for performing laboratory procedures using a variety of instruments and procedures. Performs laboratory analyses on blood and various body fluids to obtain data on which a diagnosis of health or disease can be made and appropriate therapy initiated. Areas of responsibility may include one or more of the following: hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, molecular biology, histopathology, and point of care testing (POCT).Qualifications:
