Job Description
As a CNA, you’ll work side-by-side with Registered Nurses to ensure patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their hospital stay. Your dedication and attentiveness help create a healing environment where patients receive the highest level of care.
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Help ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
Change bed linens and maintain a clean, organized patient space
Assist with transporting patients to tests and procedures
Serve and collect meal trays and provide between-meal nourishment
Record temperature and vital signs as directed by nursing staff
Support the nursing team with a variety of patient care activities
Additional Job Description
Minimum Education: A high school diploma or GED required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina, and Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
