ResponsibilitiesThe UCLA Center for Prehospital Care (CPC) is the leading emergency and prehospital academic center on the West Coast. Since 1988, the Center for Prehospital Care has been creating a fund of knowledge for the practice of prehospital medicine, delivering state-of-the-art education programs and conducting research to promote, educate and disseminate prehospital research conducted to advance the field of EMS. The Center for Prehospital Care develops curricula and educates students ranging from EMTs and paramedics, to law enforcement and other first responders, to medical students, residents, nurses, and physicians.
