The sleep technologist is to perform and evaluate routine and specialized overnight polysomnograms (PSGs), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs), and to ensure patient safety. Major duties include calibrating equipment, attaching sensors to patients, performing bio-calibration, monitoring laboratory equipment, and observing the patients while they sleep. Make decisions to initiate Bi/CPAP titration or other treatment should patient meet lab criteria. Score polysomnographic recordings on request. Occasionally work days to perform MSLTs, infant and pediatric recordings, scoring of records, daytime studies, and other functions as requested by the lab manager. Responsible to work at all UCLA Sleep Lab locations as needed for Laboratory operations.

Salary Range: $55.28-55.28/hr
