Administers treatment prescribed by a physician for the care of patients with abnormalities associated with the process of breathing. Job Description Summary The Non-Registered Respiratory Therapist (Non-Reg RT) provides respiratory care to patients in a high-acuity inpatient hospital setting, including intensive care and step-down units.
