Department OT_OP MAIN Job Summary We are seeking an experienced OT who enjoys 1-on-1 care , working with clinical specialists and handling a diverse neuro caseload (and we can assist with CEU credits). Specifically, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for utilizing purposeful activities or interventions to achieve functional outcomes, maximizing the independence and maintenance of health of any individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a cognitive impairment, a psychosocial dysfunction, a mental illness, a developmental or a learning disability, or an adverse environmental condition. Sarasota Memorial's 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility is a hospital based intensive rehab dedicated to patients recovering from multi-trauma, stroke, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and brain injury; spinal cord injury, orthopedic, oncology, and other complex cardiac and medical diagnoses.
