Coordinate staff and student clinical training needs; develop educational materials; conduct training sessions; and evaluate the effectiveness of the training in support of Respiratory Care objectives in the appropriate areas of care. Maintain records of performance, competence and attendance.
Graduation from a school for Respiratory Care with at least an AS degree. Approximately 3-5 years of experience in all areas of Respiratory Care. Some experience with staff and patient education. Experience in education development and implementation, quality improvement, program development.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current licensure as an RCP in the state of California, and Registered with the NBRC. ACLS and PALS for Adult/Peds Educators and NRP for Neonatal Educators.
