Job Summary: Provides world class Pharmacy services while assisting the Pharmacist in assigned areas of drug procurement, preparation, storage, inventory control, distribution, orders, prescriptions, and dispensing ,as well as, superior maintenance of general pharmacy operations.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent GED required. Computer classes and experience desired.
License & Cert: Must have or be eligible for a State Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern for the State where services will be provided, in good standing. Tech in Training course work must be completed prior to expiration of Tech in Training license or within 1 year of hire, whichever comes first.
Experience: One year pharmacy experience and/or pharmacy technician oriented formal class work preferred.
Other Qualifications: Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
