Under the clinical supervision of a Staff Occupational Therapist, this position assists patients to achieve a maximal functional level by utilizing Occupational Therapy techniques and modalities. Responsibilities include performing screenings in the following areas: basic activities of daily living, tub, toilet and wheelchair, functional mobility, home management, physical capabilities of the upper extremities and carrying out treatment plans and conducting physical disabilities therapy. An Associates degree with a major in Occupational Therapy is required. One year as COTA preferred. Must have a current NH COTA license and a BLS (within 3 months of hire and maintained on a biannual basis).
