AMI is seeking a Per Diem Certified Medical Assistant to assist the Vascular Institute teams in the Brick, Toms River, Manahawkin, and Neptune Vascular Institute offices.

This Per Diem position will provide coverage in the Vascular Institutes in Brick, Toms River, Neptune, and Manahawkin. Candidates must be able to work in all locations.
Shifts will primarily include 8am-4:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Current & valid nationally accredited Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA or RMA) is required. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Based on the nature of the role, hands-on, direct clinical care experience as a CMA is required. Previous experience with vascular, post-op, or wound care is strongly preferred.
Candidates must have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly & effectively, verbally and in writing. Qualified candidates possess excellent organizational skills and are accurate & thorough in all aspects of their work. The ideal candidate possesses the initiative to set and achieve high standards of performance and has the ability to multitask under time constraints. Must be skilled in utilizing standard office equipment including computers.
