Imaging Manager Essential Functions:
Supervises the patient care team and directs the modality team leads to ensure the appropriate, efficient, and professional management of patient care and staffing.
Assists in departmental planning and directs departmental activities related to area of responsibility, overseeing staff operation of imaging equipment ensures that patient care meets criteria of safe, timely, equitable, effective, efficient, and patient -focused care.
Oversees schedules and directs the workflow of the assigned service line area. Ensures appropriate training of all staff and evaluate technical skills. Monitors the quality and quality of workflow to ensure work is completed.
Responsible for the selection, orientation, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining of employees. Communicates job expectations and prepares and conducts performance appraisals, recommends compensation actions, and adheres to policies and procedures.
Oversees budgets, manages expenses and plans capital equipment in conjunction with the Administrative Director.
Continually monitors and analyzes workflows to identify required areas of improvement.
Ensures staff competencies annually and develops updated competency requirements. Actively manages areas of practice that need to be strengthened or changed.
Contributes information to strategic plans and reviews. Actively oversees, participates in, and monitors QA/QI programs relevant to assigned area and service line goals and objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
5 years in Imaging field required.
3 years in leadership/management preferred
Salary Range:
$87,000-$107,000
