As a Clinical Supervisor in Respiratory with Community, you will join a team of over 200 highly trained and skilled therapists with the largest health system in the region. Assists Manager in evaluation, staffing and discipline of team members. Coordinates activity and workflow of the respiratory care team. Performs routine and complex prescribed respiratory care procedures to meet cardiopulmonary needs of the patient. Schedules and assigns daily workload to staff team members. Serves as a professional resource person to toher members of the respiratory care staff and others requested.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Completion of an approved Respiratory Care Program and approximately two years Respiratory Care experience in an acute care facility. Meets all unit based qualifications within approximately six months of appointment, with the exception of Clinic and Hyperbaric qualifications.
PREFERRED: Three years of Respiratory Care experience in an acute care facility.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
MINIMUM REQUIRED: State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RCP). Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) as defined by NBRC. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification.
