Position Summary

Mt. Ascutney is seeking a full-time occupational therapist to join our dynamic team of skilled clinicians in the Inpatient Occupational Therapy department. The OT will be one of two primary therapists for the inpatient rehab unit. A willingness to learn, strong communication skills and accountability are a must. Responsibilities include evaluations and patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records, and working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior. May be a new grad or an experienced therapist.

Licensure & Certifications

Current licensure in the State of Vermont. BLS Certification.
