This is a combined posting for an Associate Infection Preventionist, Infection Preventionist and Senior Infection Preventionist The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. The Senior Infection Preventionist is considered to have expertise in Infection Prevention. A Senior IP is expected to work autonomously and to serve as a mentor to other infection preventionists.
The Infection Preventionist is a specialized position with a focus on infectious disease surveillance and reporting. This role is expected to work in a predominantly autonomous fashion and should not require mentorship in their role. The role will work closely with other surveillance IP specialists and analysts as part of an overall system surveillance program.
The Associate Infection Preventionist is the entry-level position for Infection Prevention. A candidate for this position must have a sufficient healthcare background but requires only basic infection prevention/epidemiology knowledge, as the majority of training will occur on the job.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
