Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Interventional Radiologist and Imaging Leadership, the IR Technologist is responsible for the overall clinical operational execution of the IR service. IR technologists assist in a variety of specialty and complex interventional and diagnostic procedures with proficiency. Technologist orders and maintains supplies, operates radiologic equipment, and sets exposure parameters during interventional and diagnostic procedures according to state and federal radiation safety regulations following ALARA principles. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.Qualifications:
