Provides hand rehabilitation services to patients and clients within the regulations and scope of practice as determined by the Occupational Therapy Board or Physical Therapy Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California and holds an advanced clinical certification or specialization that is recognized by a professional body or board in accordance with Casa Colina Outpatient department policies and procedures, including evaluation, intervention, and education services to patient/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes and education services to patient/clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Requires licensure by or approval as a License Applicant, CHT certification/specialization recognition and CPR/AED.

In our Medical/Surgical wing, we have three fully integrated operating rooms specializing in neurosurgery, orthopedics, robotics, gynecological procedures, and genitor-urinary procedures. Our acute rehabilitation hospital patient programs are among the most intensive and progressive, allowing nurses advanced training to specialize in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
Casa Colina's physician leaders and rehabilitation teams provide innovative medical and rehabilitation services to more than 10,000 people a year. This continuum of care is provided within the Medical/Surgical Hospital, Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Center; nearly 20 specialty physician programs; an associated imaging center and ambulatory surgery center; a thriving long-term residential program with six locations; an adult day health care center; a transitional living center; children's services at our campus and at school sites; plus many community programs.
