Responsibilities:
Receive report from the assigned patients nurses regarding their safety status, condition, mobility and diet. |
Monitor patients to provide a safe environment free from falls. |
Observe and report any complications/ deviations/unusual information about the patient or environment to the patients assigned nurse. Team member will refrain from the use of personal devices while in the patients room. |
Follows appropriate AIDET guidelines. |
Provides support to the patient, family, visitors and care team of assigned patients. |
Document patient activity, concerns and communication regarding the patient by notifying the primary nurse. |
Sitter must remain with the patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. |

Education
