About Us:
The Cardiology department plays a pivotal role in ensuring cardiovascular health through advanced diagnostic technologies and expert clinical care. Among its core services are echocardiography, electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitors, and stress echocardiography, each contributing to a comprehensive understanding of a patient's heart health.
Echocardiography is a key service offered by the cardiology department. This non-invasive imaging technique utilizes ultrasound waves to create detailed images of the heart's structures and functions. It enables cardiologists to evaluate heart size, shape, and movement, as well as the function of heart valves and chambers. Additionally, echocardiology can identify various conditions such as cardiomyopathy, heart valve abnormalities, and congenital heart defects. Its real-time imaging capabilities provide invaluable insights that guide treatment decisions and patient management strategies.
