Assists in the development of the goals and objectives for each infant/toddler enrolled in the center-based Casa Colina Early Start Program, including the development and design of “natural environment” based activities. Works individually with each client to implement goals and objectives, documents progress and communicates to families methods of implementing goals at home and in the community. Makes home/community visits to families as assigned, maintains and cleans class equipment, maintains supplies, prepares activities and snacks, and trains and supervises volunteers and Child Therapy Instructors 1. Requirements include A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education and 5 years experience working with special needs children; OR more than 10 years working with young children with disabilities plus a High School diploma; OR 2 years of employment at Casa Colina Children’s Services and completion of 50 In-Service/Training hours, current California Driver’s License with a safe driving record satisfactory to Casa Colina’s insurance underwriters and CPR/AED and First Aid. Applicants with current BLS may be hired, but must obtain AHA CPR/AED within thirty days of employment. Must pass a background clearance by both Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation in accordance with community care licensing requirements.
Pay: $21.00-$25.00/ hour

Casa Colina's physician leaders and rehabilitation teams provide innovative medical and rehabilitation services to more than 10,000 people a year. This continuum of care is provided within the Medical/Surgical Hospital, Rehabilitation Hospital and Outpatient Center; nearly 20 specialty physician programs; an associated imaging center and ambulatory surgery center; a thriving long-term residential program with six locations; an adult day health care center; a transitional living center; children's services at our campus and at school sites; plus many community programs.
