About Us:
The Pediatric Respiratory Unit, also known as Apollo, is dedicated to delivering exceptional and compassionate healthcare to our young patients. Our team consists of a diverse group of highly skilled healthcare professionals, all working together to ensure the best outcomes for every child under our care.
Apollo is specifically designed to cater to children with respiratory conditions, including but not limited to Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), bronchiolitis, asthma, cystic fibrosis, tracheitis, chronic lung disease, and pneumonia. We understand the challenges these conditions present and have equipped all 36 of our beds with centralized monitoring, oxygen flow meters and blenders. This setup ensures continuous observation and immediate access to oxygen support.
The team’s expertise extends beyond respiratory disorders as we also care for acutely ill pediatric patients with a wide range of admitting diagnoses, including fever in newborns, seizure disorders, congenital anomalies, and feeding intolerance. We emphasize a child-friendly environment, where we prioritize emotional support and comfort, ensuring that our young patients feel safe and at ease during their stay.
