Job Overview: Join our diagnostic team as an X-ray Technician where you will play a vital role in patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images of human tissue, bones, and organs. Working across our Toms River and Eatontown locations, you will operate advanced radiation equipment to help physicians accurately diagnose injuries and diseases. Qualifications: Required: Current BLS/CPR Certification New Jersey State Licensure for Radiologic Technology (NJ DEP) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred: Previous experience operating CT scanners in addition to standard X-ray equipment Proficiency with digital archiving systems and electronic medical records Scheduling Requirements Full-Time (Day) Essential Functions: Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, reviewing medical history, and applying necessary lead shielding Position patients and equipment to capture high-quality images of specific areas using X-ray or CT scanners Adhere strictly to "As Low As Reasonably Achievable" (ALARA) radiation safety protocols Operate, maintain, and clean digital imaging and processing equipment Maintain detailed and accurate patient records within digital archiving systems Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
