Job Summary
Currently hiring PRN Radiation Therapists to cover shifts at both our University Parkway location and at the new Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion located on the Sarasota Memorial Hospital campus.
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for providing radiation therapy support based on designated treatment plans under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
Our PRN positions are set pay rates based on years of Radiation Therapy work experience:
- Less than 5 years experience = $41/hr
- 5-10 years experience = $44/hr
- More than 10 years = $47/hr
Required Qualifications
- Require current/active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure.
- Require graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer experience with Varian equipment (True Beam and Aria).
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year as a clinical Radiation Therapist.
Required License and Certs
ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification (must have at time of hire - we accept it from American Red Cross & American Heart Association)
Both locations are open Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays).
