In collaboration with WACHU leadership and the Department of Volunteer Services, the Doula Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and management of the Volunteer Doula Program. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in human services, health care, management preferred or equivalent experience and/or training. Must complete Doula Volunteer Training Program, Childbirth Education classes and be mentored by WACHU staff. Minimum of one-year experience or 300 hours of doula service in a hospital setting preferred. Three to five years of supervisory/managerial experience in a health care or human services organization preferred. Specific skills and/or knowledge needed are: excellent administrative, supervisory and interpersonal skills, understanding of CQI process and ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity and discretion.
