Available Roles:
Main Kitchen & Mountainside Bistro Cooks:
Prepare high-quality meals for visitors, guests and Team members.
Follow strict sanitation rules and Health Dept. requirements.
Room Service Cooks:
Prepare detailed, recipe-driven, high-quality food for hospital Patients.
Responsible for operating a HACCP cook / chill program.
Follow strict sanitation rules and Health Dept. requirements.
Mountainside Bistro Servers:
Serve Team members, guests and visitors. Hosting, serving, prepping, cleaning, re-stocking and cashiering, while providing excellent customer service.
Patient Meal Room Service Associates:
Provide meals to Patients in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Work with diet-specific menus and introduce Patients to the Room Service program. Take orders & deliver meals. Assist Patients and collaborate with Nursing on assigned floors.
Operate a Call Center which serves as the communication hub for Room Service. Receive Patient Room Service orders using nutrition software. Responsible for daily reporting.
Both positions will require exceptional customer service. Focus on accuracy, safety and efficiency will be paramount at all times.
Patient Meal Tray Assembly:
Assembles Patient Meals while following specific diet orders and Patient preferences. Must possess understanding of safe food handling and have ability to keep up with demands of fast-paced environment. Food temperature and presentation are paramount. Also responsible for cold pre-plating, labeling / organizing tube feedings for delivery and other supporting tasks.
Utility Dishwashing & Operational Support:
Nutrition & Food Service Assistants are main pillars of any kitchen. Primary duties are floor care, cart transportation, trash removal, dishwashing, pot washing and general housekeeping. May support Tray line, Patient Meal Assembly and Retail foodservice. Critical to success of Room Service operation. Efficiency, flexibility, accurate communication and friendly demeanor are essential.
