The Non-Certified Medical Assistant performs a combination of clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of a licensed provider. This role is intended as an interim position for team members who are actively pursuing a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure within a defined timeframe.
The Non-Certified Medical Assistant supports clinic operations by assisting providers with patient care and performing delegated clinical tasks, while also contributing to the efficient day-to-day functioning of the practice. Responsibilities include working collaboratively as part of the care team, supporting patient flow, and assisting with both clinical and administrative processes. While performing these duties, the role requires ability to access the operational components of the practice, including clinical work areas, medical records, supplies, and secured medication storage, as necessary to support daily operations and patient care activities.
