MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master’s degree in theology or equivalent from an accredited institution recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Completion of four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE) – preferably as certified by one of the following: the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE); National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC); The Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association Canadienne des Soins Spirituels (CASC/ACSS), or the Spiritual Care Association.
Experience: None.
Licensure: Ecclesiastical endorsement by an organization recognized by the United States Department of Defense (Armed Forces Chaplains Board) or the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Board Certified, Provisionally Board Certified, or Board Eligible Chaplain preferably by one of the following: Association of Professional Chaplains (APC); National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC); Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC); The Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association Canadienne des Soins Spirituels (CASC/ACSS), or the Spiritual Care Association. If the person is not Board Certified on hire, achieve full or provisional Board Certification within 24 months of hire. (Once board certification is achieved, it must be maintained for continuing employment.)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires frequently traveling (distance: 500 yards). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $54,558.40 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
