Job Description
Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and minimum 1 year of experience in
interventional radiology preferred and /or graduate of an advanced IR program.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and licensed by the South
Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Must be able to produce very high quality special
imaging with little supervision. Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be
familiar with age specific criteria.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA)
BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for
Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS,
PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training.

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Experience: At least two years of modality specific work experience required. Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Skill Set: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
