Loan forgiveness and tuition reimbursement programs available. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in supervising daily classroom routines, including toileting, meals, diapering, and transitions. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment. Support educators in curriculum implementation, classroom management, and child engagement. Prepare materials and resources for activities and lessons. Collaborate with educators and families to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning space. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED. Ability to pass all required state and federal background checks. Current or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire. Ability to perform moderate physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and engaging with children at their level. SEED Level 4-5 certification preferred or to be completed within 30 days. Food Handler’s Card Experience with children preferred; familiarity with alternative educational models (Montessori, Waldorf, Expeditionary Learning, or similar educational models) is preferred. Completion of 24 hours of annual paid professional development is required. ENVIRONMENT: Enjoy working in a thoughtfully designed, state-licensed center. The position requires a moderate amount of mobility. The ability to reason, speak and have basic manual dexterity is essential.
