• Location: Intermountain Health Riverton Hospital

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 for eligible applicants

• Full-time, Night Shift 7-on / 7-off

Essential Functions

• Maintain ARDMS and ARRT certification and modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.

• Ensure accurate patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams.

• Perform exams according to department protocols; review images for clarity and accuracy.

• Complete studies within acceptable timeframes without compromising quality or patient care.

• Assist and mentor students and other Radiology Techs on protocols, positioning, and equipment use.

• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address any concerns.

• Practice proper infection control and sterile techniques.

• Operate imaging equipment and related information systems to produce high-quality images.

• Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions.

• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and report equipment issues.

• Cover X-ray duties as needed.

Qualifications

• ARDMS Registration: Completion of one registry beyond physics (OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, or vascular).

• ARRT certification

• State licensure

• BCLS Certification: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography and radiology
