Summary

The Lead Therapist provides support for supervision of staff and daily operations. Coordinates, monitors, and recommends improvement actions for clinical outcomes, procedures, and documentation to assure quality patient care. Participates in promoting positive department image through interactions with managers, physicians, consumers, and staff. Provides patient care in accordance with the philosophy and standards of Parkview Health and governing regulatory bodies. |

Speech-Language Pathologist: Must hold at a minimum a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a school accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA). OR Physical Therapist: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, with a physical therapy degree as follows: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, if graduated prior 1/1/2016; Doctorate of Physical Therapy required, if graduated after 1/1/2016; International Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree preferred. OR Occupational Therapist: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, with an Occupational Therapy degree as follows: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree if graduated before 1/1/2002; Master's degree required if graduated after 1/1/2002; International Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. A Masters degree is preferred. |

Must hold or be eligible to receive a Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Speech Language Pathologist license in the State where services will be provided. State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. SLPs must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. APTA/AOTA/ASHA membership preferred.
Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and licenses according to the expiration date.
If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver's license is required. If assigned to drive a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver's license. |

Demonstrate good problem solving skills in both clinical and operational issues. Demonstrate a positive role model in attitude and customer service. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, combined lift 100 pounds and push 300 pounds. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to work at other locations as assigned. |
