Operates and maintains proficiency on all Ultrasound equipment within the department to provide
quality imaging. Performs patient procedures and provides appropriate scanning techniques and
images. In addition, the Ultrasound Technologist III will assist the supervisor with ACR accreditation,
addressing quality concerns, reviewing studies for QA/QC, and working with radiologists to develop
protocols.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must meet the educational
requirement for Ultrasound
Technologist certification with
either ARDMS or ARRT
• Associate degree or higher-preferred
Licensure/Certification
• ARDMS registered in Ultrasound
Technology.
• ARDMS Registered in Abdomen
and/or OB/GYN.
• CPR certified or obtained within 30
days of hire
• Additional registries through ARDMS-preferred
Experience
• One or more years of experience
in the field of Ultrasound
• Previous hospital Ultrasound
experience-preferred
