Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate of an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program.
Graduate of an approved and accredited nuclear medicine program
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in NM preferred. Skills include demonstrated ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment and current dynamic health care climate. Demonstrates the ability to plan, design, implement and evaluate one’s own work and to work independently with minimal observation or supervision. Human relation skills include the demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to work collaboratively with multiple coworkers of diverse cultures, educational backgrounds, and experience. Political process skills include the ability to build partnerships with physicians and others. Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when minimal to no directions are given. Requires good interpersonal skills. Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines. Position may require some overtime, on call responsibilities, and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress. Must be able to follow instructions and document care given. Must possess the ability to plan and organize.
Licenses/Certificates: • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or NMTCB certified
• CPR certification required.
• Licensed by the SCRQSA
