The Occupational Therapist I is an early career professional that will perform evaluation and subsequent planning, execution, and supervision of therapy programs for persons with sensory motor or neuromotor dysfunction. The incumbent will participate in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary training programs for affiliating students, staff, and community agencies; clinical supervision of Occupational Therapy students, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), and volunteers/aides; and maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
Responsibilities
Evaluate assigned patients using acquired information about the patient’s functional skills, roles, and context. Prioritize needs and analyze information obtained from the occupational profile to begin the treatment planning process.
