I am a graduate of Southwestern College, where I have obtained my degree: Associate in Arts - Preparation for Allied Health. I am a current member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Additionally, I am a member of the Nevada/California Regional Alumni Association of Phi Theta Kappa as well. My ultimate goal is to become a Registered Nurse and work in the Intensive Care Unit.

Completes all manual machine checkouts before the first case of the day; troubleshooting; prepares and assists with a variety of complex airways; prepares and assists with placement of arterial lines/central lines and/or any other invasive lines; collects venous or arterial blood samples for point of care testing to obtain metabolic results to report to Anesthesiologist; assembles and operates Belmont and Cell Saver for administering blood products; covers off-site anesthesia areas; any other additional duties delegated by the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist.
Completes all manual machine checkouts before the first case of the day; troubleshooting; prepares and assists with a variety of complex airways; prepares and assists with placement of arterial lines/central lines and/or any other invasive lines; collects venous or arterial blood samples for point of care testing to obtain metabolic results to report to Anesthesiologist; any other additional duties delegated by the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist.
Completes all manual machine checkouts before the first case of the day; troubleshooting; orders and re-stocks anesthesia supplies; prepares and assists with a variety of complex airways; decontaminates and peel packs laryngoscope blades for sterilization; prepares and assists with placement of arterial lines/central lines and/or any other invasive lines; collects venous or arterial blood samples for point of care testing such as blood glucose, iSTATs, and activated clotting time machines to obtain metabolic results to report to Anesthesiologist/Resident or Nurse Anesthetist; assembles and operates Cell Saver for administering blood products; assists anesthesia team with STAT intubations or code blues in or outside of the operating room; any other additional duties delegated by the Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist.
