ResponsibilitiesThe Ultrasound Technologist will produce diagnostic images and hemodynamic testing of the human anatomy utilizing both stationary and portable ultrasound equipment. They will perform ultrasound studies primarily at our Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital area and participate in holiday, on-call and weekend rotations as needed.
The Ultrasound Technologist (UT) will record patient images via appropriate archival media and transfer images as needed. They will review clinical information regarding patients along with images with the Radiologist. Achieve images onto appropriate media, follow UCLA Health Radiology Department’s verification process and maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed. The UT is able to explain to fellows, residents and new employees the methods of scanning and equipment operations when directed.
