Under general supervision of the department manager, assistant nurse manager or charge nurse, the HLD Technician performs High Level Disinfection (HLD) to process all endoscopy for the entire organization of MUSC Charleston. The HLD tech supports endoscope reprocessing for ART, Main, North Tower, and SJCH, working out of multiple HLD spaces.
