Description The speech-language pathologist (SLP) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of services in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing. Upon physician referral the speech-language pathologist will perform evaluations and develop individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implementing the plans of care, reassessing treatment results, and actively participating in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including all disciplines, the patient and their significant others. Provision of services for pediatric adolescents as well as for both inpatients and outpatients may by required. Description Swedish Otolaryngology is seeking a collaborative and motivated Medical Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing Voice & Swallowing Center. Working alongside seven physicians, an established SLP, and a dedicated laryngologist, you will play a key role in delivering specialized care for patients with swallowing disorders, voice disorders, chronic cough, and vocal cord dysfunction. This outpatient position spans two clinic locations and includes providing therapy, participating in multidisciplinary clinics, assisting with in-office procedures, and partnering with rehabilitation therapists to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
