Description The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is responsible for the management of the pulmonary system through the administration of medication, ventilator management and pulmonary hygiene during stable and critical situations. Other job duties include performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostics, daily maintenance and QC of ABG machines and competency testing. RCP's will perform clinical duties and operate equipment according to department policy, with an appropriate physician's order and according to manufacturer guidelines.
