Further develop and implement a neuropsychology program and neuropsychological evaluation services based out of an outpatient neurology clinic within a major medical system
Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to help clarify cognitive and psychological functioning of patients referred primarily by neurologists within an outpatient neurology practice. Provide diagnostic impressions and recommendations to referring providers, patients, and care partners to help inform treatment and support planning. Please note, referrals are primarily seeking to rule out neurocognitive disorder or clarify severity of neurocognitive disorder. Referrals also include presurgical neuropsychological evaluations for patients with Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor, or Epilepsy being considered for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) candidacy.
