Description
The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is a health professional who demonstrates competency in all required therapeutic and diagnostic modalities provided in the Sleep Disorder Center and may be required to work variable shifts. The Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive adult and pediatric polysomnographic testing, analysis, patient care, education, and associated interventions including diagnostic and therapeutic services such as CPAP, Bi-Level, ASV, MSLT, MWT, HST and O2 titration under the general oversight of the Supervisor, Manager, Director, or designee. A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist can also provide oversight and training of other staff.
