Job Description Summary Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET performs diagnostic nuclear medicine testing, including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions related with these studies. Uses sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation. Prepares and administers radioactive chemical compounds known as radiopharmaceuticals. Knowledgeable in IV placement to avoid extravasations of radiopharmaceuticals. Performs computer processing and image enhancement.
