Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for delivering and overseeing high-quality speech-language pathology services to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Working under physician referral, the SLP evaluates patients, develops and implements individualized plans of care, and collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary care team to promote optimal functional outcomes. Services are provided to pediatric and adolescent populations, as well as adult inpatients and outpatients, in alignment with Swedish Medical Center standards and all applicable professional and regulatory guidelines.
