Description The Dietitian Inpatient (Registered Dietitian) is a member of a multidisciplinary team that assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates all aspects of a patient's nutrition care. The Dietitian Inpatient is able to use validated tools to identify patients that require nutrition interventions or that have the potential for developing nutrition related problems. They provide a nutrition assessment which may include anthropometric measures and/or growth measures, pertinent biochemical data and medical test results; a nutrition focused physical exam and a food and nutrition –related history assessment.
