47081774 Overview The Sterile Processing Advanced Technician is a medical professional who reports to the Sterile Processing Supervisor. This technician specializes in the decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments for the Operating Room as well as the clinics within the hospital and our offsite Newport location. The Advanced Technician will also clean and process Endoscopes according to hospital policies and procedures making sure to follow all manufacturer IFU’s. Applies his or her knowledge on a daily basis by acting as a resource for fellow team members and other departments. The Advanced Technician will also take Charge Duty when the Supervisor has a day off or is on vacation and carry out the daily duties of the supervisor when they are not in the building.
