Description Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice, Neuro interventional procedures, as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Development, implementation, and management of an individualized, interdisciplinary team plan of care designed to achieve maximum nutrition support. Counseling and education of patient/family in the application of medical nutrition therapy principles when appropriate. Make appropriate referrals to other members of the health care team to optimize outpatient care and follow-up. Function as an advocate for nutrition care for the acutely ill hospitalized patient; a consultant to medical staff; and a nutrition consultant in the community when contracted or requested across the continuum of care.
